- RAR Support*: scan for roms inside of RAR files. Overwrite method preferred (it won’t delete the rar)
- Ultra-fast new overwrite method: use overwrite to trim roms in as low as 0.01 seconds.
- Move the window around by clicking anywhere on the listbox or empty window area. (EasyMove)
- It now remembers your Input and Output folders in the file dialogs
- Command line options: drag a folder to the exe to have it scanned on start-up automatically
- Option to stay Always On Top
- other minor fixes

* Note about rar: if you notice ‘unrar.dll’ in the program folder, you can delete it once you close the program.

Researchers (in Japan) Print Blood Vessels from Ink Jet Printer

Researchers from Tokyo Medical and Dental University and Kanagawa Academy of Science and Technology have some promising research that could make the removal of the great saphenous vein unnecessary in future coronary artery bypass operations.

The technology they are developing allows them to print new blood vessels and capillaries from an ink jet printer. The ink used in the technology is made from artificial cells and medical gel in a solution of calcium chloride. This ink solidifies into a tube with a lining of endothelial cells and an outer case of smooth muscle cells.

Researchers at USC have taken another step towards that holiest of sci-fi dreams: the 3D holographic display. Using a spinning mirror covered with a “holographic diffuser,” a special DVI implementation, and a high-speed projector, the team’s device can project a three-dimensional image that can be viewed from 360 degrees — regardless of the viewer’s height and distance

SanDisk and Samsung are currently sitting at 64GB with their SSDs. SanDisk’s offering features read speeds of 67MB/sec (write speeds are unknown) while Samsung quotes 65MB/sec reads and 45MB/sec writes. Adtron’s 160GB SSD trumps both with a maximum read speed of 70MB/sec and maximum write speed of 55MB/sec.
