Ai Sp@ce is a Japanese virtual 3D massively multiplayer online social game (MMOSG) developed by several companies that form the Ai Sp@ce Production Committee which was launched on October 15, 2008, despite an earlier announcement of a summer 2008 release.[1][2] Beta testing commenced between mid-September and mid-October 2008.[3] Primary development was handled by Headlock, with Dwango providing the world’s infrastructure and Internet service. Dwango’s subsidiary Niwango ties in the Nico Nico Anime Channel from the Nico Nico Douga video sharing website by providing users the opportunity to upload gameplaysequences online.[4]
A downloadable client program enables its users to interact through motional avatars with each other and primarily with bish?jo game heroines from three visual novels:Clannad by Key under Visual Art’s, Shuffle! by Navel under Omegavision, and Da Capo II by Circus.[5] After a player creates an avatar, one of the bish?jo game heroines is selected as a personal character doll, or “chara-doll”, to live with on one of the game’s three virtual “islands” which are patterned on the worlds featured in the three visual novels. The islands are connected by a central Akihabara Island where players with their chara-dolls can gather for chatting and events.[1] The first theme song for Ai Sp@ce is sung by Kotoko.[1]

Wednesday, July 15th, 2009Your Love Plus Virtual Girlfriend Experience Trailer – Love plus
Tuesday, July 7th, 2009Kotaku – Your Love Plus Virtual Girlfriend Experience Trailer – Love plus.
The first part of the game is standard fare: Players court three girls, trying to get them to fall in love. That’s where most dating sims end — Love Plus is just getting started. The second half is open ended. You’ve already got the girl, now what do you want to do? Want to touch her on her forehead, cheeks, arms, etc. via the touch pad? You can email her, call her via the DS mic and study together.
As shown in the trailer, players can set how they want their girlfriend to address them. What’s more, over time, she modifies to match the players’ likes and dislikes. The way she speaks will even change slowly over the course of the game.
Love Plus, which is scheduled for release later this year, runs on a real time clock, which even corresponds to the different seasons. The DS title is packed with over 5,000 scripts, 150 CG events and 25,000 voice expressions — something that might make a localized version not only tricky but time consuming and costly.
Love Plus will be out in Japan on September 3.

Amazon Drops Rape Simulation Video Game
Sunday, March 8th, 2009Wicked Games: Amazon Drops Rape Simulation Video Game.
The rape simulation game involves players chasing a mother on the subway and violently raping her, and then tracking down and raping her two daughters described as virgin schoolgirls. The game includes even more horrific details according to online game reviews, such as the option get other men to join in the attacks, having to force the women to get abortions if they get pregnant, and what a review (NSFW) from Something Awful says are “tears that glisten and move in the little girl’s eyes.”
Moderation inability leads to unfriendly websites and decreasing visits.
Thursday, February 5th, 2009Isn’t it great how the internet allows us all to easily setup a blog, website, forums.. anyone can easily do it nowadays. Some of those grow big, some fail after some time. I believe proper user moderation makes up for a big amount of the visitors willingness to go back and contribute to the community, which is, after all, the only means to turn a website succesful and eventually monetize it.
So a friend came over today and asked me about a recently discovered hack for the PS3 which apparently allows the use of PS2 games backups if you have one of the first launch PS3’s with the emotion engine chip. So I told him to head over to the http://www.ps3-hacks.com/forums, who had actually covered the news about the hack in the past few days, so it should be natural to discuss it in their forums.
My friend said it was useless and he’d never bother visiting their website again. He had registered and posted there asking a specific question about the subject, which was later deleted by a mod without a single reply or any notice to him. So he thought maybe there was another discussion going on with the same subject, however a few searches proved otherwise. He posted again, asking the mods to at least notify him if the subject was really covered somewhere, but it got deleted again without any consideration. After digging in some more, our conclusion is the mod didn’t even read the message properly and deleted it on the thought it was the same as some other threads with a somewhat similar subject. Even so, such an agressive moderation policy without a hint for its users, seems quite retarded. Probably not a great experience to join a community and have your first few posts deleted with no warning or reason, surely frustrating and a really bad way to keep users active and keep it growing.
Digging some more through the mod in question’s profile we end up with a few pics in his myspace account, and here’s the culprit who contributes in such a *possitive way to his beloved community:

What do you think.. should low IQ monkeys be allowed to moderate forums?
How to play PS2 ISO’s on PS3 via USBAdvance
Wednesday, February 4th, 2009
What you need:
- Swap Magic 3.6+/3.8 (Purchase here) (Must be actual copy, burned copies do NOT work).
- Launch PS3 (20/60gb) – NTSC/Japanese (Must have emotion engine, only launch PS3’s had this).
- Flash Drive (PSP in USB MODE will also work).
If you are a Japanese PS3 user you need to rename the folder BADATA-SYSTEM to BIDATA-SYSTEM -This guide will assume you are a USA user and call the folder “BADATA-SYSTEM” in the download pack.
- Download the USBAdvance Tutorial File Pack.
- Extract the contents of the folder USBADVANCE to the root of your flash drive/PSP.
- Boot up SWAPMAGIC and once loaded into the menu screen, people who are using swapmagic v3.6 press UP (on D-Pad)+L2 on your PS3 controller to browse through your flash drive. People that are using Swapmagic v3.8 go to the SMBOOT menu and select uLaunch from there. In the pack provided uLaunch is SMBOOT1. Go to configure, select any button you want (I usually use X or O), go to MISC and select FILEBROWSER binding it to the selected button, go down and hit ok. Now go to the browser. (Props to Crono for telling us how to use v3.8 Swapmagic). If you are unable to view your flash drive, then it is not compatible (use another one).
- Copy the BADATA-SYSTEM folder and USBLD_01.ELF file to your Virtual Memory Card (on PS3).
- Go inside BADATA-SYSTEM folder and cut/move the Pictures and SWAPMAGIC folder to ROOT the Virtual Memory Card.
- Remove your FLASH DRIVE, press the PS button and quit the game and go back to XMB and launch swap magic.
- At this point you should move the Playstation 2 ISO’s of your choice to your external HDD/flash drive. You need to have them properly formmated and copied over via USBExtreme or USBUtil (is included in file you downloaded above). If you are not sure how to do this, there is a quick tutorial that guides you through the process. Make sure your USB/Flash drive is plugged into your PS3.
- Once booted, browse and launch USBLD_01.ELF
- And there you have it, if you followed this tutorial properly you should see the Playstation 2 ISO’s there and just click and launch
How to copy PS2 ISO’s to a external USB/flash drive
Note: Ps3-Hacks will not link anyone to pirated ISOs — Find them on your own.Method 1
- Download the USBAdvance Tutorial File Pack. (Ignore if you downloaded it in last tutorial), and extract the folder USB EXtreme to you desktop.
- Plug in your USB HDD (or Flash drive)
- Put a PS2 game into your disc drive (if the game is already on your computer you can mount it with Alcohol 120)
- Open up the USB EXTREME tool on your computer.
- Select your Disc Drive the PS2 game is in, Media type (most are DVD’s) and your USB/Flash drive.
- Now you can name the game and hit start.
- There you have it a properly copied game to your HDD, just pop it in your PS3 and follow step 8 from above.
Method 2 (Easier Method)
- Download USButil
- Format your external drive/usb drive to FAT/FAT16/FAT32 format.
- In the download pack you downloaded there should be a folder called USBUtil, go inside that and run the EXE.
- Go to FILE and click on “OPEN ISO to create game”.
- Search and click on your PS2 backup, and click CREATE.
- The program will now copy the ISO over to your pendrive (it takes some time).
